Hidden Scars by Andi Jaxon

I usually don't like to use words like "hate" but yeah, I hate this book.

So many people love this book, I just... Can't.

So we are introduced to Preston - he have an amazing life, rich, talented, at least on the outside - but his father is abusing him for years, he just cuts his son just because, as a way of punishment.

First, I just can't suspend my disbelief enough to justify someone getting this abused for years and do sports without any problems. His father did small surgery on his son without any anesthesia and he never, ever got it infected even playing hockey - a contact sport -. It would be impossible to hide for long.

Then we have - please hurt me again - Jeremy.
Imagine you discovered the person you loved was getting abused, and instead of supporting them into getting help, trying to reach out, having a serious conversation about it... You do nothing more than just enabling him and bang him anytime you feel he needs it ... But we are supposed to believe they are in love...

To be honest this books sounded like something the author knew where it was going until like 30% off the book and the rest of the book she just wing it...
