A fresh retelling on Beauty and the Beast, I loved reading a modern character being dropped into a world of fantasy. Harper is our strong female lead, representing someone with cerebral palsy, without it being the only defining trait of her character. Rhen is everything you expect from a prince, though Grey was a surprising addition and I liked him more than his Royal Highness. I was concerned about a potential love triangle and it falling into a cliché, but with a sequel, I am not sure what the next direction will be.
