Wow, wow, wow... It's way better than the first book. Still needed to get used to Ms. Jackson's writing style, but I enjoyed this book so much.
The pushes and pulls , especially pushes coming from Otto, were so frustratingly dragging the story. I understood him, but I pulled my hair so many times that I had a bald patch on my head. Raven was so honest with her feelings to Otto. Raven was more a man in between their relationship because she bravely spoke up for herself and what she wanted.
This book had many plot twists, I was like, what happened here? How did that happen? And it was unrolled nearly at the end of the story. Hence, the ending was so satisfying. I loved the ending so much. I could kiss Ms. Jackson just from the ending.
I am so grateful I didn't give up on Ms. Jackson's books, even though I didn't get the best experience with her first book of this series. Can't wait for the next book because in two days, I would get the ARC of it. See you soon, Kane! Hope his book is as good as Otto, or even better 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
