Really enjoyed this book. I read Bel Canto by Patchett a number of years back. Remember liking it, but think I may have enjoyed this one more.
Unique locale - the tributaries of the Amazon, interesting characters, scientists in a primitive, native culture/society, and an intriguing plot.
What more can you ask? Oh yeah, Patchett writes well, too!
