Amelia Unabridged

This book literally left me incapacitated for a full 24 hours after reading. I was so drained mentally that all I could do was sleep. It has the most achingly real depictions of grief I've ever read. And that's why I was knocked out from it--I spent the entire book crying. I wish I was exaggerating but I'm not. From the moment Jenna died to the very last page I was in tears, sometimes outright sobbing. I have to say if you have a hard time with grief this book might not be the best for you. My own experiences aren't all that fresh and this book absolutely wrecked me. Be careful reading, is all I'm saying.
Now, all that being said, holy shit I loved this book. It destroyed me more thoroughly than any book ever has and I don't care it was amazing. Giving it anything less than 5 stars would have been the biggest lie I've told this year. It's a 5 star read through and through.
