I finished this book with more questions than answers, but sometimes there just aren't clear-cut answers. I grew up in a Christian household, so from the moment I realized I was gay, I've struggled with religion.

Is a person who's overall very good and kind, but also blames 9/11 on gay people, still a good person? If you scream fire and brimstone out of love, does that make it okay? Do our beliefs outweigh our actions? Can people with fundamentally different views still be friends?

Like I said, more questions than answers, but I'm really glad I read this book. It gave me a chance to think through some of my own struggles, and I think I understand "the other side" (religious people) a lot more now.
