The Lost Girl: A Fear Street Novel by R.L. Stine

5.0

The Lost Girl was everything I wanted it to be and more. I was hooked from page one. I forgot how gruesome R.L. Stine's writing was as I haven't read anything by him in a long time. The first murder scene was very intense; I wasn't expecting it to be that graphic in a YA book. I thought it really lived up to the 'Fear Street' name. I loved the split timelines. I wish there would have been more of the story set in the 1950s but I wasn't disappointed by that. The twist at the ending wasn't something I expected. I normally get an idea about the ending, but not here. I can't wait until my son is old enough to read R.L. Stine's work. I'm sure he will love his books as much as I do. 5/5

I received this from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. My thoughts are my own.
