Tales of the Black Widowers by Isaac Asimov

3.0

Like Encyclopedia Brown for adults, with all that entails. All of them are decently written and fairly entertaining, but some of them get a bit too into the weeds of whatever the key to the case is. As an example, one story spends most of its time on the correct interpretation of a Biblical reference which ultimately comes down to a fairly silly joke, and it's very draggy. But still, the entertainment to time investment ratio was favorable, and I'd gladly read more of them if the books weren't so hard to track down.
