I randomly clicked on this when Spotify recommended it to me and immediately recognized the voice of Haley James Scott from one tree hill! I wasn’t aware of anything about her personal life, but I was immediately sucked into this book. What a great read and an amazing reading (please listen to the audiobook, read by the author). A great memoir about faith in spite of everything, even a cult that uses that very faith to break down and take advantage of people. 

My only note is that I don’t really like the title. It’s catchy but doesn’t quite fit. Hopefully it gets buzz, but I think they could’ve come up with a better title!
