I received this book as a Christmas present in 2020 so I wanted to save it for the perfect moment since I loved the other two books so much. This is technically a standalone companion novel to The Last Namsara so you can read it by itself, but I highly recommend reading the other two novels before reading this one.
The Sky Weaver the story of Safire and Eris. These two strong and brave woman find themselves as sworn enemies, but on the same quest: to find Asha, the last Namsara.
This book was absolutely fantastic. Although it did not match up to The Caged Queen (Circcarelli's second book) for me, it was definitely still a great read. It took off a little slow, but this is usually how Ciccarelli's stories start in order to help the reader better understand the world and all its dynamics. Before I knew it, I was thrown into a story filled with pirates and dragons (both of which I absolutely love). There is also a slow build romance which I absolutely adored. Typically with some books that switch between different character's perspectives, I will find myself more interested in certain character. This did not happen with The Sky Weaver because I equally loved Safire and Eris' perspectives for different reasons. Safire is a strong and independent woman who serves to protect her family and kingdom whereas Eris does not have anyone to rely on making her unconventional and self-sufficient.
Overall, please give this series a chance starting with The Last Namsara! I promise that you will not regret it :)
