When My Heart Joins the Thousand by A.J. Steiger

5.0

This book is breaks your heart so much in the beginning, Alvie and Stanley have had their share of difficult moments throughout their childhood. They act so mature, that it's hard to believe Alvie is only 17 and Stanley is 19. They both knew they were broken and didn't realize how important their friendship would be. They both had to learn that they are not to blame for the actions of their parents. They learned to be less stubborn with each other and to help each other through the bad times. I was nervous through out the book because if they didn't handle the relationship right, they would cause themselves more pain. But they cared for each other, even when it was difficult to do so.

It's a great book!
