“She knows that kings tend to become hero’s to future generations. Songs about them are sung, and their cruel deeds are turned into sunlight. As for queens, they are either hated or forgotten. “

No but the way I was absolutely obsessed with this book 😭 I was on the edge of my seat from cover to cover!!!! Costanza’s writing is absolutely brilliant. It’s very blunt? But I was so in love with the way she told the story. I’ve recently just started getting into Greek mythology so it was really refreshing to see some familiar names in here but loved loved loved the retelling of this story.

This is the perfect example of a strong and powerful heroine!! Talk about woman empowerment y’all. I want to be Clytemnestra when I grow up… lol. I loved this book so much.
