Queer and feminist western? I’m here for it. I want more of Ada’s story though. I feel like it ended in the middle of her story rather than wrapping it up.

Barrenness is treated like witchcraft. Babies and mothers revered. When miscarriages happen, people want to blame the barren women. Some die at the hands of the town. Some rot in jail. Others run away.

Ada escapes to a convent, and from there the Hole in the Wall Gang, a band of outlaws running from society the way Ada does.
