To be honest, I picked this book because I was intrigued by the title and the cover artwork (and because it was available at my local library).
It took me a while to finish, though. Not necessarily because it's bad, but I wasn't quite in the right mood for reading about dysfunctional families and toxic relationships.
I like the general idea of the story, but I couldn't really relate to it emotionally. This kind of secular monastery that the protagonist creates with a lot of money and drugs wouldn't be my personal choice for a mental reset. But I guess that's what the book is about.
