Phewwwwwwwwwww, boyeeeee, what a wild ride!
On the surface, None of This is True is a story about a podcaster (Alix) helping a woman (Josie) tell her story in an effort to set herself free of her current, unhappy life. But this is Lisa Jewell, friends, so there's a looooot simmering just under the suraface.
I read this as a budy read with the Reading Books in Chaos buddy read group and let me tell you: that chat was POPPIN'! There were so many theories, observations, and most of all QUESTIONS. You really don't know who to believe, who to trust, who to suspect, what's going to happen next... it's best just to sit back and let this one wash over you.
If you are an audiobook fan, this one is a M U S T on audio! It's without a doubt the best audiobook production I've ever heard. You will be completely engrossed from the first moment.
