This book is an homage to sixteen unsung heroines of WWII (including a pair of sisters). It is well-researched with footnotes, a bibliography, and references. This biography is exactly what one would expect from a retired female U.S. Army Major General.
I loved these heroines so much and wish all of them had gotten the recognition they so rightly deserved. Yes, it is white men history striking again!
