For the Wolf by Hannah Whitten

2.0

This felt like an incomplete fantasy novel in terms of world building and plot. Honestly, I barely understood what was going on and could barely comprehend the ending. The plot and world were very weak. There was even LEGGINGS spotted! What is it with fantasy books always having characters wear leggings, it never makes sense.

Now, the romance. This book is the textbook definition of instalove. Sick of this already!! And then they get married around 30% through the book, and it’s arranged as a CHOICE, so she chooses to get married to a guy she’s known for like two weeks? Smart! Also, any time they said “Lady Wolf” in the story, I cringed so hard. What kind of title is that??? And of course he is dark and brooding, he’s CENTURIES years old, and he was stated to he “a head and a half taller than her” which is totally a wattpad height difference. I also just hated the w stupid “replacement” words for swear words like kings and shadows even though they use regular swear words like shit as well.
