Strong female characters in South Asian culture are a straight soul connection for me and we have two of those in this one. Although the story focuses on two twin brothers it is so much more informative of how things were back in India pre independence. And how marriage and family is not all that makes a woman feel fulfilled.
Definitely a must read for all my fellow South Asian sisters 💕
