This was my first read by Emily and I was NOT disappointed at ALL. When I tell you this book had me CACKLING and SWEATING 🥵 The banter was my favorite because I really did LOL several times, but those spicy scenes? I wasn’t ready for any of it.

Emily’s writing is poetic at times, but then she’ll throw in there something like “what in the Cupid baby ass was that” and I’m not sure how she makes that all work but it just does.

I have read monster romances but none quite like this and I think Ms. Emily may have started something. I cannot wait to read the rest of her books because after this one I have to read everything else she has previously written and everything she writes in the future.

Being introduced to the main characters Eros and Aradia was one thing, because they were easy to love right away but I fell in love with the secondary characters just as much. Even with only a dual POV I felt like I knew ALL of the characters 🥹

Now the spicy scenes?! I cannot stress enough. How much I loved them lmao. Like…the creativity that was used to create them and the entire book was insane.

If you like monster romances that are just nuts but so good. Please check out Emily’s books especially this one, it is on KU. BUT the cover is beautiful and the edges are decorated so you may as well get a hard copy.
