The writing was good but the plot was really slow. The romance was not to my taste, but it’s probably just a personal opinion. Characters are okay but feels like could use more characterisation other than ‘other love interest that only talks to the protagonist once or twice’ and ‘loyal sidekick’. Overall finished the book for the writing, plot not so much.
