Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge, and the Teachings of Plants by Robin Wall Kimmerer

5.0

I've never heard a review of this book that was less than outstanding and I am here to add my voice to the chorus.
It elegantly dismantles ideas about human exceptionalism and 'ownership' of the planet that have led us to climate crisis and it made me feel a lot of things.
Some of the more spiritual aspects were beyond my understanding, but I don't think you're supposed to be able to slip into an ancient worldview like a pair of slippers, so that's probably OK. God, I loved it and wholeheartedly agree with so many of the concepts.
