While it was a good read, it doesn’t stand out to me. Maybe because the plot felt pretty similar to The Kinder Posion. I liked how it was split into two perspectives but I found it hard to connect with either of the main characters. I was also able to predict a fair amount of the plot so for me it fell flat.
It was good, just felt like an average book though. I plan on reading the second one eventually, but that will probably be a few years from now.
I think the author did an amazing job of world building and story telling and I could see this book being someone’s favorite or best read of the year.
