Summary: Trevor Benson returns to his grandfather's house after his passing with a complex mystery-his grandfather's last words. Enlisting the local sheriff to help him solve the riddle he also falls in love with a woman he's pretty sure is already spoken for. Meanwhile, Callie, a quiet, lonely teenage girl down the road presents her own mystery. Where did she come from, where's her family, and what's her connection with his grandfather?

Review: Another endearing Nicholas Sparks romance. I would say this one is about average for my personal preference in Sparks's writing. I've enjoyed some other books of his quite a bit more, but I did still enjoy this one and thought it was better than some of his earliest writing.
