This is the second book that I have read from Jennifer Ann Shore and just like the first book, this book did not disappoint. It’s such a beautiful, easy read and as a novella with a shorter page length, I still felt the story went at a perfect pace and was not rushed. The relationship between jack and Gemma had me yelling at the phone “what are you doing!!!! Your being stupid!!!”, a lot but after facing their personal flaws and realising that what was in front of them was special, I could finally be at peace😅 I also would like to point out the bi rep in this book as one of the main characters, Gemma, is bi!! I love seeing this representation in books as I don’t see it enough. I can’t wait to read more of Jennifer’s work as she clearly has a gift at writing romance with deeper meaning and issues. Over all a solid 5 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
