Instructions for Dancing by Nicola Yoon
4.0

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5. Before she caught her father kissing another woman, Evie was a romance junkie. She lived for romance novels and believed that true love was out there. Now, not so much. And when she takes her romance novel collection to a Little Free Library, a strange woman urges her to take a book about dancing. Like…ok. But after that, when Evie sees people in love kiss, she gets visions. She sees how they met, a few key points in their relationship, and how it ends. When said book also leads her to try ballroom dancing, she is paired with easygoing, gorgeous X. As she falls for him, she can’t bring herself to open up, not know how it will end. The end was heartbreaking, and I really enjoyed this one. Recommended for grades 9+.
