Night Prince by Felice Stevens

This book, based on so many recommendations, has been sitting in my TBR for a while. I finally decided it was time and am kicking myself for waiting. I read it all in one sitting as I couldn’t put it down.
The world building here is so interesting and I love some of the new vampire features Stevens has created though I’m surprised by some she has left out. The MCs, Massimo and Damion both captured my attention right away and I was rooting for them to get their HEA.
There are several stages to the book and a couple of crisis points. The story arc moves well and builds the relationship and then the political problem. The ending to the final battle is awesome and the ending to the book is sweet and special. I know it’s a standalone but I would love more in this world. The steps for what must come after the ending here would have to make for a fantastic story.
