k8_mart 's review for:
Luckiest Girl Alive
by Jessica Knoll
This book had the basic outline of being a good book. I typically enjoy books that are written in this format, switching between the past and present. However, I thought it was just trying to be a good plot, not actually a good plot, if that makes sense. I thought it was predictable at some points, but the plot didn't make sense at other points. It seems like the author found a genre that sold and tried to emulate it, but wasn't able to actually execute her plan for telling the story. I'm still unclear what exactly happened in the ending, though I was able to see the ending coming. It was an okay read, but wouldn't say I loved it.
