This is one of those reads that just fits the bill. It’s not an OMG story. It’s not terrible. It’s just solid.
That said, I did enjoy it overall. I really liked Hetta. A feminist before the word had meaning. I love Wyn (sp?). Both are great characters. The magic system is unique. But we don’t learn a ton. I’d like to know more.
This was free for audible plus users and gave us a sneak peak at number 2 at the end. Book 2 is not included, but did make me want to add it to my wish list for a possible future purchase.
