Origin by Dan Brown
4.0
Another entry in the Robert Langdon universe is more similar than it is different to previous works. Genius Prof. Langdon and a hip sexy sidekick go an adventure, mysteries are unraveled, and ultimately the day is saved. You kind of know what you’re going to get.
While I saw the end coming, I was pleasantly surprised to find some commentary on technology and how it is changing our world and perspective. Reminiscent of one of Brown’s earlier work, Digital Fortress, he shines when discussing both art and technology (at least to me, a lay person). If you liked the previous adventures, you’ll like this one. If this is your first Brown, I’d go with Da Vinci.
