Immortal in Death by J.D. Robb

4.0

Another good In Death book! I had my suspicions about the murderer throughout and was not surprised by who it was but enjoyed the getting there.
Eve has her wedding to get ready for and needs to clear her best friend of a murder charge. This makes for a pretty fast paced kind of plot. We get more of Eve's background in this one, as heartbreaking as her past is. She also is opening up to people more and I love seeing her not so alone in the world. She has found her place and her people and will protect them.
Roarke, I still want more about. Yes he is rich and so sweet to Eve and her people. But I want more of what makes him tick.
Peabody is entertaining and I like that she was getting more page time here as well. Same with Feeney of course. Its the side characters that make these books so worth it.
