Loved the fast paced action. I appreciate how quickly the author got to the 'main event' but I did think he overstated certain points (the endlessly repeated "there's a spy at camp" comes to mind). I found the Annabeth-Percy love story a bit tedious and unnecessary especially with the Rachel and Luke jealousy elements. I did appreciate that the author didn't shy away from killing characters, it made the stakes feel real. While the action was fun I thought this book didn't have the same narrative feel as the others but I suppose this was meant to be the main climax. Overall an exciting conclusion to a quick, high action series.
