I've long loved Charles de Lint's storytelling. It captures you to his way of seeing colours in the world that weren't there before. However, once you see them you cannot unsee them. I've read most of his books and whilst I liked some better than others, they are all still spellbinding pieces of literature that take you to places you haven't been before.
