This was a very different, yet beautiful story about two very different characters. I thought this would be a love story, and it is to some extent, but that is only a small part. The characters, particularly Elsa, are so fascinating and Avit's portrait of her is something that I'll remember for a long time. It was a unique story and that the main character is in a coma and only has her hearing makes it different from other books I've read. The book really moved me, and I found myself thinking of the characters when I wasn't reading the book.
