This is a spicy book. Our main character has some sketchy things happen and gets thrown into a mysterious prison. We get a little description of it but mostly terrible with a lot of unknowns. She discovers some powers, instalusts with some fellow prisoners, and then tries to figure out what the what is going on.
So - on the vibes - I liked this book. On the worldbuilding - it's a bit of a "suspend disbelief and just go with it". This isn't one of those books that you get a lot of the worldbuilding at the start. You pick it up as the story goes and mostly at the end. That said, I still enjoyed it and there is plenty of "group" activities , if you like that kind of thing. Definitely check triggers because there is some non-consensual before we get to the very consensual.
