ARC REVIEW

I'm actually quite bum about minor subplots went, (I inner English dictionary broke on me, but I think this is right word.) Am I overthinking it? Probably. I felt there were some many "coincidence" that was happening.

Like oh, you're bound to this person, but somehow I don't know howwwww so and so remember that the bindings can be transferrable. So yay you're basically free but not really free.

Yea...No I didn't really find it like oh my gosh yay! But more, "oh how convenient that this person suddenly remembers this"

Again, am I overthinking it? I most likely good be.

ANYWAYYYYS, I hate, HATE MISCOMMUNICATION TROPES, and this book in particular PISSED ME THE FACK OFF. Everyone is lying and omitting truths to the FMC, by FURIES SAVE ME, it was aggravating.

"BuT i WaS jUsT tRyInG tO pRoTeCt YoU" GIRL BYE

Cool cool cool, I'm fine, everything is fine. Not really because I was sad we didn't get any primal play; hence the book title "Demon Hunter." I figured we get more feral and unhinged smutty smut....nope

Did I like the story?.....Yea, in a way? I definitely feel it was more character driven than plot driven. I wouldn't have minded more information on the magic system because we honestly don't know how these characters even have magic, especially strong magic. I'm beginning to fall flat where the main scenario is heading...There's too many side quests

I received an ARC through Netgallery by the publisher.
