I almost abandoned the book when the Spoiler foot fetish content got introduced, since that's not really my thing, but after finishing the book I feel like the sexual exploration aspect of the book prompted some of its stronger moments. Although I liked this couple in concept, the pacing of the book was pretty poor and the writing felt repetitive at times. This is especially true when it comes to the OCD storyline. I really related to Vincent at first and I saw my own compulsions reflected in him, but as time went on, it felt like Wardell was Spoiler implying that being in love means Vincent doesn't need help with his OCD anymore. I think that a little more TLC towards developing the characters and less towards coming up with the worst pet names ever Spoiler ("smoothie"???? seriously?????) would have done this book a lot of good.
