This was such a great read! Perfect for people who want a hopeful queer joy romance rather than the tragic queer stories we see so often.
When I heard that there were illustrations, I was intrigued. I was pleasantly surprised to see that there were so many! Probably at least 1 for every chapter which was more than I expected.
The foreshadowing was done really well, the characters feel really relatable, and although I would’ve liked more lore on the merman, we do get some fun nods to mythology surrounding sirens/merfolk.
The ending was wild and perfect.
