Across the River and Into the Trees by Ernest Hemingway
5.0
There is a great turmoil in the stillness of Hemingway's narrative that stirs buried emotions in one's heart when reading this book. I found with great surprise how easily I identified not with Renata but with the Colonel. A very satisfying and heart-stirring story.
