omg I loved this book. I devoured it! It's a quick monster (inspired by venom) novella that is super spicy and still had a plot line that was interesting to read. I loved Vozs and his obsession and possessiveness with Cora who is a woman stuck in a bad marriage and becomes a sort of anti-hero as well through the book. All Vozs cared about was protecting Cora, keeping her safe and making her happy even if it meant just being by her side because how could she ever want to be with the real him so he will take whatever he can get just to be by her side. He was just so sweet I loved him from page 1. The spice was there, and it was hot!!! I totally recommend this to anyone looking for a quick, spicy monster horror novel as it will check all those boxes.
This book is about Cora who is stuck in a bad marriage when all of a sudden, her husband goes missing for months and she is the number one suspect for his disappearance. However, just when she was starting to enjoy the peace, her husband Oliver turns up literally as she is showering giving her the scare of her life. The thing is while this man may be called Oliver, may look and sound like him but she knows for a fact that there is no way this is her husband. So, who is he and what does he want?
