Enjoyed this way more my second go-around, no doubt having read much more Austen other than P&P helped me think about Austen’s writing strengths more, and Persuasion is definitely one of her best, and maybe, somehow now, I read as her most vulnerable? Apart from my initial thoughts on it during my first read displaying heavy optimism, which is still does. Where was I?
