Resistance fighters face Ku Klux members that take the form of literal demons. I didn’t know anything else about this book and had a fantastic time. The historical elements, the gore, and the blend of horror all combined into a fast-paced and very engaging book. I was hooked from the start and finished this in one sitting. Love the relationships between the resistance fighters and the social commentary on hate vs. pain/justice.
