Slowly but surely the plot of this series is coming back to me, and I remembered just how much I loved this book.
So. Much. Happens. In SUCH short space of time. Ancient shit is hitting the mythological fan so to speak.
However, if there is one slightly small criticism I’d like to make of Percy it’s “read some damn geek mythology”!! The boy is literally the son of Poseidon and doesn’t know his own histories. The fact it took him 200 pages to establish that it was Atlas who was the General, I was embarrassed for him.
