I have no shame in admitting I love these books. Yes, once you read one, you’ve read them all (the author uses the same formulas and tropes in nearly all the books) but I just love the characters.
I loved Claray and her collection of animals! She had such a great personality and spunk and I enjoyed following her. And I also loved Conall. He’s the right kind of rough yet gentle, strong and sexy, and just matched Claray well. I really liked their love story.
I hope there are more Highlander books to come from Lynsay Sands! I do enjoy them.
