Shivering Heights is undergoing a change. Thick fog rolls in and with it a parasite infiltrates the city, forever changing the environment, and people, that reside within. Ten mini climate fiction stories link to one another to create this novella.

Immediately upon reading the first few lines of Fauna, you’ll feel a strange underlining sense of terror. Nothing is amiss yet but there’s a tone of something isn’t quite right. From beginning to end, the atmosphere controlled the narrative.

This was such an interesting read with lush prose. I’d classify this as an eco-fiction horror novella if you want to get specific. I really enjoyed the science feel to this as well.

Thank you @coachhousebooks for a copy in exchange for an honest review, 3.5✨! This cover is definitely one of my favourites this year.
