It just wasn't for me, I think, which is too bad - I was suspecting it would be. But I think the early and intense violence against women just left a bad taste in my mouth which tainted my ability to get into it, I think. It has some great concepts and narrative structure and character arcs, for sure - and I am curious how Tavi does in the next book in particular, but I probably won't continue on the series.
