The pacing got kind of. Atrocious? I recall just fully spacing out at least 5 times and then "woke up" to interesting scenes. Some parts felt pointless, but I enjoyed watching Rin struggle to get a fucking grip. Love her, love Kitay, loved the ending, but hated the lead up. This is such a random thought but this would have made Fidel Castro laugh. The most ATLA-esque of all the books in the trilogy.
