Parachute Infantry: An American Paratrooper's Memoir of D-Day and the Fall of the Third Reich
by David Kenyon Webster
adventurous
informative
slow-paced
David Webster is a wonderful writer who's self importance ruined this book. It took me longer than necessary to finish and I flipped through most of it as I could only take so much of his pedantic attitude.
It was informative, well written, accurate, and decently paced. If you don't mind reading someone's self absorbed account, then give it a try.
