The Tower of the Swallow by Andrzej Sapkowski

3.75

I loved the back and forth between Ciri and Vysogota. I like that we get Ciri’s reflections about her journey, and how they differ between her feelings in those moments.

My favorite scene goes to Yennefer at the Hindarsfjall temple. I like that it pushes Yennefer’s ruthlessness against her deep love and dedication to Ciri.

Favorite quote:
”You blame me for those who died - because of me - from their own hand, from my hand….for once having raised a hand against myself? You can see I had my reasons! And I regret nothing! Even if I could turn back time…I regret nothing!
