On Time and Water by Andri Snær Magnason
5.0

On Time and Water reads like dystopian fiction but is sadly non-fiction. Magnuson uses stories and his own family’s personal history to illustrate in very clear language just what climate change is doing and will continue to do to the planet.

Magnuson points to apathy towards climate change as perhaps the biggest issue; lifestyle luxuries, convenience and capitalism standing in the way of any meaningful change.

The book is infused with an earnest hope; we have created this problem and we can find our way out of it.
