While I enjoyed this book generally, I was not a fan of the multi-POV (and I consistently am not a lover of this writing style). I often find multi-POV distracting and when you are uninterested in one of the POVs, it can leave a bad taste in your mouth as a whole. This was unfortunately the case for me here.
While I felt my reading experience here was average, I think in a different medium (TV show, movie) I would enjoy this immensely more. I think the story in itself and the world were beautiful, so I didn't feel anything less than 3 stars was justified.
Still, I'm very glad I tried this book out!
